WILMINGTON, Del. - Catherine Andrews posted a team-high 18 points and added five assists, and Amanda Vitzakovitch notched 16 points to lead visiting West Chester to a 74-67 victory over host Wilmington in a non-league women's basketball contest Tuesday night.
The win moves West Chester to a perfect 4-0 on the season. Sophomore Renata Neal contributed 11 rebounds off the bench for the Golden Rams. Janelle Garber registered 12 points.
Freshman point guard Megan Stewart played the final 14 minutes, posting four assists without committing a turnover.
West Chester will return to action Saturday when the Golden Rams welcome Slippery Rock to Hollinger Field House at 1 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader with the men's game to follow at 3 p.m.
